Saints, Sinners, Lovers, and Fools
Saints, Sinners, Lovers, and Fools: 300 Years of Flemish Masterworks

Tantric Art from the Collection of Robert Beer
Tantric Art from the Collection of Robert Beer
British artist Robert Beer is renowned as one of the first Westerners to be recognized as a master practitioner of both the Indo-Tibetan (thangka) and Nepali (paubha) schools of deity painting. His enthusiasm for the aesthetic and spiritual practices of the great Tibetan artists he first studied under, along with the work of younger artists exploring and interpreting these traditions, led him to collect many of their finest works, and to help promote their significance with a number of his influential books on both Tibetan and Newar Tantric Art.
